Hello my friends, I am just checking in with everyone. Hoping you are all doing well. Yes, I know. Here we are starting another month still with social distancing, isolation, and a whole bunch of uncertainty. And the last thing you need is another person telling you, we are in this together. Of course we are, but we aren’t too. We are all living with this differently. For some, it’s an inconvenience. For others, it's a source of fear. And for some, it's life and death. Two words I hear used most often to describe this situation are “crazy” and “surreal”. And it is both. In some ways, it has warped our sense of reality. We suddenly understand what it means to be a member of a herd. And it's something most of us are not too comfortable with. We thought we were more independent than that. We prided ourselves in being an individual. And yes, we still are, but we are also so interconnected with everyone else. The health of the herd is our health. Protect the herd. Stay home. Stay healthy.
